DEUTZ AG Annual Report 2020
“Innovative training for young people plays a key part in our success. At the DEUTZ BUSINESS SCHOOL in the Spanish town of Zafra, we support our own employees as well as employees of other companies. During the coronavirus pandemic, we also provided online learning.”

Financial targets are one thing, but how we intend to achieve them is another. Sustainability is firmly enshrined in DEUTZ’s business strategy: Our objective is to strive for commercial success while fulfilling our corporate, social, and environmental responsibilities. We have therefore adopted the phrase ‘Taking Responsibility’ to encapsulate our commitment to helping to achieve the sustainable development goals of the United Nations. Sustainability means many things to DEUTZ, from environmental protection and climate change mitigation to responsible human resources management. We have set ourselves clear objectives in our 2023 vision for sustainability. Day in, day out, our actions are focused on achieving them.

Our obligation: the sustainable development goals of the UN

Sustainability is firmly enshrined in DEUTZ’s business strategy. After all, companies can only remain successful if they fulfill their social, corporate, and environmental responsibilities.

“Promote zero-emission technology!”

DEUTZ is a pioneer in the field of carbon-neutral transport and has been steadily expanding its product range in the segment of environmentally friendly electric-powered and alternative drive systems. CEO Dr. Ing. Frank Hiller is calling on politicians to provide clear incentives in the off-highway segment.

Clean, fast – and simply better

Electric motors from global market leader Torqeedo are helping to protect the Earth’s climate and its waters, and demand for them is growing globally.

Our progress is driven by people

The ‘Factory for Talents’ turns motivated apprentices into highly-skilled DEUTZ employees. There is a long tradition of training and developing talented young people at DEUTZ.
