DEUTZ AG Annual Report 2020
“We are so successful with innovation because we understand the requirements of our current and prospective users.”

Innovation
Now

The DEUTZ innovation center is a modern idea generator. It is an environment where DEUTZ employees can develop, discard, reinvent, and test ideas. The guiding philosophy is ‘Be proactive, get involved, and create something new.’ This is what drives us. And our journey is guided by the needs of our customers. Often, this requires us to think in new ways and form new teams. But most importantly, we have to listen to the people who use our engines every day as they operate machines and work with them. In our innovation center, we create the right conditions for technological progress. Our team will keep on researching and developing until we achieve the optimum outcome for all of our customers.

Networking for the benefit of customers

The strength of DEUTZ’s workforce lies in the way in which employees collaborate. After all, teams that work well together are more successful than lone warriors.

Sustainably innovative

The Nicolaus August Otto Award presented by DEUTZ recognizes dedication, pioneering spirit, and the courage to innovate. It is named for the man who invented the four-stroke engine and co-founded the company that is now DEUTZ AG.
